Poland West
Photographs 2004-2010
Poland West investigates the rural towns in the voivodeships Pomeranian, West Pomeranian and Lubusz corresponding to provinces. The last two share the river Oder as their border to Germany and all of them are situated far west of the capital Warsaw. The urban spaces I was drawn to lay bare scares of the pre- and post-war periods as well as the decades after the break-up of the Soviet Union.
